So, despite my user name, Blues aren't my bread and butter....so I need a little help please. I'm trying to put together an arrangement of "I put a spell on you", and I'm doing it in F major (Dm, Gm, Am, Bb) So my question is...for the "solo", would I be using an F major blues scale or a D minor blues scale? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Whatever sounds good to you would work. Myself, I would do a Dm blues scale for the first two bars, but that might not work for the next two. For one thing, when I play this song I usually don't play an Am but rather an A7+5 and would use notes that fit into this chord.
