There's an interesting-looking upright in this article. I'm thinking the cabinet might be custom made. Not sure what's going on with that box underneath where the pedals should be.

It looks more like a pump organ case than a piano to me. Even the bench suggests organ rather than piano.

I was thinking it was a pump organ, but thought the case looked too small. The pump organs I've had experience with were taller than a tall upright. It's described in the article as the "piano room" but that could be the author's mistake.

Pump organs come in a variety of sizes David, just like pipe organs. If they have more choices of stops, the organ will be larger. That is a small pump organ in the photo, sometimes called a reed organ, as they typically use reeds to produce sound rather than pipes.
