Hey guys,

I did some live recordings with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra just a while ago which I'd love to share with you:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLvfDrHtERA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ed68xtyrEYc
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZ5z-EB3KYs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pm0mGaYTyFU

They had just around 25 minutes to record each piece but pretty much nailed it (like the runs in the middle part of Spaghetti Con Brio are really ridiciously hard! Watch them cracking up on those, lol ).

I'd also like you to be welcome to my homepage fredericbernardmusic.com

Also, at this time all my printed scores can be now be downloaded for free!! - Share them, trade them, spread the word.

PS: as this is a piano forum I'd also like to share three of my music pieces which feature a piano as well:
https://soundcloud.com/fredericbernard/mrs-trigger-finger (Jazz)
https://soundcloud.com/fredericbernard/a-murderous-romance-for-piano-and-two-cellos (Romantic)
https://soundcloud.com/fredericbernard/op0-no-2-piano-episode-inside-a-devastated-mind (Modern)

Cheers!
Frederic

Hello Frederic,

I greatly enjoyed your work! Your orchestral pieces and orchestration is really excellent and your piano pieces are excellent as well. This is professional work! There is only one thing, which I do not understand. No reactions at all from this forum. I donĀ“t understand the reason for this. Yet, I think your work is among the very best I have seen here.

Well I've been busy and just discovered this thread. I've only listened to the first piece (Spaghetti con brio) and the last one (Inside a devastated mind) so far. I just started listening to Kitchen Fiasco and cut it short because it sounded like more Spaghetti con brio. OK. H.E.R.O.S. is better but I have to say the orchestral stuff sounds very much like film music. The orchestration is very competent, but also stereotypical. If you're going for a career in film music you're off to a great start. From what I've been told there's plenty of work available in that field (music for media), but getting paid for it is the challenge.

You have obvious skills and having now checked your web siteI see your focus is indeed film music. I'd say you're on the right path. It seems you're in Germany and my only suggestion would be to consider making connections in LA, the worldwide home of the film industry.

I was going to comment that your music seemed to lack a sense of individuality, but given your career focus on music for media individuality would be a hindrance. Thanks for posting, good luck!!
