Hey guys,

I will be buying a digital piano on Friday and have a $750 budget. I really don't care about all the bells and whistles, I just want a standard type of piano to use in my living room. I really like the look of the Casio PX760 but don't know how it compares to others. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Based on 1) the amount you intend to spend (USD) , and 2) the desire for a basic DP to play in your living room with no need for a lot of extra features, you already like one of the top-rated (if not THE top) models in the $700 price range; and it comes with a furniture "cabinet" stand.

Aside from the PX760, you might want to look at the Kawai ES110, Yamaha P115 or Roland FP30.

The Roland gets you some fairly new technology (sound engine and key action) - to include CORRECTION: sampled, Acoustic Piano voices. The Yamaha is an old but reliable design. The Kawai is also a new design that also uses sampled APs.

You may well need to try all 4 of these to know which speaker system of the four best satisfies your ears. Good luck!
