I have a 6' even piano by Mason and Hamlin manufactured in 1905. It does not have the full perimeter plate. It looks like it was rebuilt with a pretty nice rebuild in the 70's or 80's and actually in really decent shape. I was just wondering what the model number would be. It's not an A or AA but between those sizes. Any help????

Don't know of the accuracy of this, but the antique piano shop shows a Victorian A measured at 6 ft 1 inch . Maybe the information will give you something else to explore: that possibly the length of the model numbers changed

M &h Victorian A

Actually, as I was cleaning her up I noticed that there is an AA cast into the plate on the far end left of the bass strings. I guess it's a 6' AA - who knew?
