The thought just crossed my mind when seeing the bluetooth features on the Roland LX series.
You can use Bluetooth Midi, Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth Pageturn.
Is any of these incorporated in any learning softwares?
I guess it would have a good advantage to get instant feedback from your playing when learning to sight read for example (which I am just starting with right now after 26 years of playing by ear).

Like many of my "genious" inventions, I guess maybe this has already been invented?
If so, whats the name of good learning programs that gives feedback? (Yes I am also going to hire a teacher later this year, but I want to learn some basic sheet reading first)

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Roland 's own "piano partner 2" has some of these features.

Regarding midi and instant feedback, I think there are many software doing it. My understanding is bluetooth just eliminate the use of usb cable to exchange info between piano and computer/phone, unless u r thinking about something else...

One example is the software used by the Gigajam online school courses I'm taking right now: when u practice scales, it provides background guitar and drums to make it not boring, after u finish one piece, it gives u an % score and print out the music sheet of your input vs the correct one..

This is one of those ideas that's just waiting for someone to do it. A program that let's you load MIDI files and then gives you instant feedback as you play (note accuracy and tempo).

Piano Marvel, Piano Maestro and Musiah will give you feedback as you play, but you can't load your own MIDI files to learn. Vice versa, you can load MIDI files into Synthesia which has a 'Sheet Music Mode' but it doesn't give you feedback as you play through.

FWIW - I found the constant feedback in Piano Maestro (iOS) very good. It really helped to make my basic music reading very solid and - accurate. It only scores you on accuracy and basic tempo, but with that foundation, working on regular sheet music became so much easier. It just keeps you honest.

The feedback from Piano Maestro's sister app (SimplyPiano, also from JoyTunes) is, I think, even better: you make just one mistake, the note goes red, but you continue. You make more mistakes (in a short time) and it jumps back to before the mistake and you do the part again. You fail to make the part a few times, it turns on the metronome, goes very slow and waits for every note to be played correctly...

Midi over Bluetooth is just Midi without the cable, but it needs to be supported by the phone, tablet, PC you use.

Kawai CN35. Daughter wanted a piano, so we got one. Now who'll learn faster? ;-)
