In the past two days I have had a terrible time trying to use the forum. I have a MacBook Pro and the forum has been freezing repeatedly. Sometimes I get the "spinning beachball of death" 6 or 8 times in a row within the same thread. Sometimes a page won't load and it just disappears halfway down the page (part of the page will load but when you scroll down it cuts off and is just blank). Sometimes I am trying to write a response to a thread and everything freezes and I just lose everything I have written. I have tried shutting off my computer and restarting it. I have tried getting out of the forums and then getting in again. I have tried using the back arrow repeatedly. I've tried reloading the page. Sometimes I can get the "spinning beachball of death" to go away but as soon as I click on a button it returns (assuming the button is even responsive at all). I am just about at my wit's end. I would say this has happened at least 50 times or more over the past couple of days. Sometimes even if I go away to another website and come back it doesn't help. This never used to happen on this forum. It is not happening with other websites; this is the only one. Something is really wrong that wasn't wrong before.

Rosewood17 - try using Google Chrome on the Mac, just to see if that solves any problems.

I'm using a Mac, iPhone and iPad to read Piano World and I haven't experienced any problems. But I had to switch to Google Chrome on the Mac because the last few updates seem to have made Safari glitchy on certain websites (and that's after a brand spankin' new install). After switching to Google Chrome the glitches went away. On the iOS devices I'm stil happily using Safari.

If your problems still persist after switching over, at least you can rule it out as the cause of the problems.

OK, I will try using Google Chrome on my computer (this is posted from my iPhone).
Thanks for the suggestion.

This is being posted from Google Chrome, which seems to be working OK. Safari is still not working, so I guess I will use Chrome for this forum for now on.

Thank you for the suggestion.
