Hi everyone,
I am interested in purchasing a 1991 Yamaha G2 5'7'' Grand Piano. The seller is asking for 5-6K for it. I believe the exterior is oak. Piano has had light use and is in excellent condition. Is it a good investment?

I would never use the word "investment" with regard to a piano purchase. Any piano you buy will not increase in value, despite what the advertisements of a leading manufacturer might suggest. Relative to inflation the value will reduce.

I agree that a piano isn't an investment (financial)...but that price assuming the piano checks out with a tech sounds really good to me.
