hi!
I am sitting on my piano stool and it feels like the stool should be a bit lower. I can't get it any lower than it already is.
Is this something you have experienced as well or do I just have a strange body?

There is a simple accessory you can get to solve this problem, it is called a saw.

It depends. How low can your piano stool be lowered? I am looking for a new one myself, the bench that came with my piano is 19" and it seems just a little bit too high.

Looking around, I have seen adjustable benches/stools that go as low as 17" some 18" so it depends on the stool/bench.

I'm 6'1", and I have a mid-range adjustable bench that was just a bit high at its lowest setting. I contacted the manufacturer, and they sold me a shorter set of matching legs for 30 bucks. Now even with my size, I use the bench adjusted up about an inch and a half. Perfect. I wouldn't be surprised if the fittings were pretty standard for these, just a corner bolt.

If you have a digital piano you might be able to raise it a bit by shimming the stand.

A lack of talent does not stop you from learning piano. It just takes longer and you have to work harder.

maybe it's the whole problem of the piano being low. I feel like my piano migt be a bit low. Thisis even true for another piano I use. They're both uprights.
There are higher upright to be sure. I mean, certain piano stools might just be made for higher pianos.
My piano teacher said something about my upper body being in a certain way that might need a lower stool. I can tell you that I am not even 180cm so I am not very tall.
What are your experiences with this?

Is the piano on caster cups? If not, try a set.
