iLoud Micro Monitor

These seem to get rave reviews. They apparently work well up close. Could they do a good job sitting on top of a digital piano.

Has anybody tried these with a digital piano?

I use them for portable video editing and they strike me as too bassy. I'm about to configure them through a tiny mixer so I can rebalance. There are no tone or balance controls. Very strong, though.

For some ideas, this audio engineer tears apart budget monitors and computer speakers in his spare time. Not really reviews but he notes a couple of competent models...

I've been VERY impressed by these PSB Alpha PS1 speakers. I have no idea how they'd be as digital piano speakers - but they strike me as honest and uncolored, definitely not hyped up. ($299 for the pair, I believe.)

I should correct my review above, as there are a couple of EQ switches on the back of the main speaker. So there is limited EQ available, including a low frequency cut. I'm still experimenting, so can't say if it's sufficient for my purposes.
