New search function not working for me at all. Even some basic searches yield and ton of post not even remotely related. Used to use often, hopefully this can be reviewed and repaired.

The new search function is not functioning.
Hopefully you're able to fix it soon.

Count me as another who hates the new search function. Searches are now limited to 4 years and function not as user friendly. Please bring back the old search function.

The word AND for searching multiple words... how does that work, because it comes up with total unrelated searches.

Try using Google with a site-specific search, by entering something like this in the search box:

Used to work in IT and was frequently frustrated doing searches on Microsoft's site. Came back with garbage. I'd run the search on Google and the top result was the page on the Microsoft site I was looking for.

I guess the Google search engine that was embedded on this site is gone now.

Apparently you are a moderator from Italy.
All moderators here have always identified themselves by proper name.
Are you willing to do same?
Thank you
