Just came across this one, although I am already settled on getting a new PX-860, any info on this 10+(?) years old Roland HP 103 ? I know it was a middle of the road cabinet below the HP 107 which used to be the top range, but that is mostly it. Any ideas how it still stands today?
I am mostly just curious because I couldn't get much info that isn't 10 years old. I imagine it can't stand to the newest models, but I am curious by how much.

The Casio is quite a bit better. The HP was fine for it's time, but it doesn't compare to anything coming out new, and the Casio is a good instrument. Unless you are getting the HP103 for free, I'd go for the Casio.

Thanks Morodiene, I was just checking if it isn't some "sleeper". But I agree with the hands off approach for such old digital instruments. I spend some time looking for DP, trying as many as I could and it always boils down to basically what people on this board are saying all along. I think the PX 860 fits to my budget and ambitions grin
