The X series does solve a major objection of the current AvantGrand, namely the headphone sound is significantly poorer than their speakers. Binaural recording helps.

Any sense of when they'll port the X to smaller units?

Thanks!

They've known that even before releasing the original AG series wink It's a deliberate plan to start with the most expensive instrument first. Sell it until big wallet purchasers are done then go to the next level, etc. What about when nobody's interested anymore? Right, the binaural samples, CFX. Big wallets again, etc. wink It's s strategy that's laid out for the next 50 years at least. And what's in the pipeline after 50 years. Right, unlooped samples!
