Once again, it depends on the musical maturity and technical strengths/weaknesses of the individual pianist.

You explained earlier that you want someone to rank those pieces just for "fun". (Not sure what kind of fun that would offer, though.)

It seems like you just wanted to get a ranking after all, not for fun, and not care about the fact that nobody's list would fit you.

That's just stupid and highly immature. This is a forum for serious pianists, and frankly, nobody here wants to waste his time compiling a 100% subjective difficulty ranking of a bunch of pieces so close to each other in difficulty that ranking them is absolutely pointless.

heck, I can't even decide whether Jardins or Reflets is more difficult for myself to play. I'd be hard pressed to give an answer. And if I did, it would be extremely ignorant to think that you would find it to be the same way for yourself.

C'mon, youse guys. Rating difficulty is obviously subjective, and depends on the various skills of the player. No two people will agree. But it's useful in guiding which piece to learn next. Some of you advanced players should learn to play some Marcel Dupre works for organ. See if it's harder than chopsticks.

But it might help to say this (not that I'm expecting this will do it either):

Franz, you don't seem to be getting it.
What people are saying is that it just isn't possible to give meaningful answers -- not possible.

It's not just that different people have different opinions. It's that all these pieces are in a similar range of difficulty.

If you asked which is harder, Fur Elise or the Waldstein Sonata, we could answer that. But the pieces you're asking about aren't like that.

The real question is whether it is more or less difficult than Jardins Sous La Pluie (Debussy).

One thing for sure: Pronouncing the names of the pieces is harder than playing them.

If you are looking for what to learn next.... ASK YOUR TEACHER
If two pieces are rated approximately the same, your teacher will be able to tell you which one fits your skills. A forum cannot do that.

Reread the posts above by everyone, who clearly stated that Jardins and Reflets are SO SIMILAR IN DIFFICULTY that THEY CAN'T BE RANKED.

Learn the difference:

Scarbo is more difficult than Jeux d'eau

Prokofiev's 2nd piano concerto is more difficult than his 3rd

Beethoven's Hammerklavier sonata is more difficult than the Appassionata

Schumann's toccata is more difficult than Debussy's toccata

Liszt's hungarian rhapsody no. 12 is more difficult than no. 3

BUT

Rachmaninov's 3rd concerto is AS difficult as Prokofiev's 2nd

Bach's Goldberg variations are AS difficult as Beethoven's Diabelli variations

Rachmaninov's etude op. 39 no. 5 is AS difficult as op. 39 no. 6

And indeed,

Jardins sous la pluie is AS difficult as Reflets dans l'eau.

The unanswered question is: Why?

No. I really Wished someone could have given his or her opinion on the difficulty of the mentioned pieces. I think not that someone can clame they are all the same difficulty. For example, I guess most would say that the third ballade is hardet than op 48 1. I just asked because I wondered.
