For me, it's nights mostly. The digital with headphones works well for that. I'm on the acoustic when my wife is out of the house, usually evenings or weekends.

I am at the piano after the kids go to bed and before I do. That can vary from 5 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how tired I am. I might just play old pieces though, usually practicing new stuff is draining, so progress is sloooow.

For at least 4 out of the 5 weekdays, I practise 20 minutes in the morning before I leave for work, then 40 minutes to 1+ hour in the evening depending on my concentration level.

During the weekends when I have no lesson, I practise 2-3 hours in the morning, then 1-2 hours in the afternoon or evening if I find the time and feel like practising more.

On the alternate Sundays when I have a lesson, I practise 1 hour before the lesson, attend my 1-hour lesson, then I'm free from piano for the rest of that day.

7 to 9 PM each night is my "happy time". It is after work and dinner, but before any shows to watch. During the weekend it varies greatly, depending on what is going on.

Somehow it all works!

I'm actually hoping that in 3 years or so after I'm retired 2-3 hours per day will be the norm. I sure hope so...

I'm better in the morning but evenings between 7 and 9 are my only time slot available. I always try to use it completely
