Hi guys,

I am just arrived in the alps today and I will be skiing for the whole week I hoped there was a piano in the hotel but this does not seem to be the case.

So I will be probably not playing from the 11/2 to the 18/2 since I will no piano.

Thanks
g

I'm sorry, I have not played feb 14 and 15 due to flu (lost a private lesson too).
Feeling better today, I have restarted practicing.

24-hour whirlwind business trip kept me "off-keys" for 2/16. Back at it tomorrow!

Please add Feb 15 and 16 to my list of absences. I was in Phoenix at a workshop on Student Success and although I took my music, there was no piano available. Probably not enough free time to touch one anyway.

Skiing was great and in fact, almost as good as the time in switzerland!

I managed to come back in time to spend some time at the pinao on the 18th. So my off perios was 11-17.

thanks

Hi!
unfortunately I could not practice on Feb 19
I always practice piano in the morning, before going to work. Yesterday, we had an audit at work. so, I had to study some documents in the morning (instead of playing piano)
I got back home at 6 pm. I had enough time but I was mentally tired. I could not do anything. not playing piano, nor cooking! confusedI just wanted to rest!
but good news is that I am off today and I can practice double!

I also need to be added to the excused list for Feb 21-24, please. Not only am I in Las Vegas (and far away from my beloved Boston), but I have the flu to boot. So on the road and sick. Count me as doubly unable to play. Or function really. Ugh.

I can only plead forgiveness: I've missed four days this week, through a combination of:

- Sleeping late so I miss my 02:30 alarm;
- Not wanting to practice something that's unfamiliar (basic improv).

Terrible, I know, but I'm working through it; I might get a recording of how my improv sounds in the next couple of days.

I missed 2/24/17 and 2/25/17 due to surgery for a broken wrist.

I'm planning to spend extra time working on chords. One handed practice isn't much fun, but I'll find something to do.

The injury is my right hand and I'm open to suggestions on what I can practice with just my left hand.

mom3gram - These things happen. I will put you Back on the Wagon Feb 25.

OrangeredStilton - Slumps happen and life has a way of getting in the way of practicing sometimes. I will put you Back on the Wagon Feb 25.

Oongawa - Big time ouch! It sounds like you will be down for a while. I hope your wrist heals soon! I will add Feb 24-25 to your excused list.

Today we have to move out of our temporary apartment, but our place is still three weeks away from completion. I am going to try to have our rental piano moved into the place I have rented for the next three weeks, but I will not know if it will work out until tomorrow. I hate to think I might be without a piano for three weeks! cry

I was ill last week so may I be excused please SwissMS for the 20th and 23rd February. I did sit on the bench on the 22nd but doubt that my unfocused plonking was productive.

Hope you wrist heals quickly Oongawa. I had to take 2 weeks off last year after surgery. Frustrating!

Well here I am again. I need to be excused from 2/28 - 3/3 for yet another trip. At least I'm not sickly this time. Thanks, SwissMS!
