This morning I started with the Keyboard Suites of Händel. D-minor, E-minor en G-minor, including the Passacaglia 3hearts
My adult son who visits us liked the music and I told him the name of the composer

Händel, Suites

Best regards,
Johan B

Dogperson-Youth is rude but honest often and so I took it to heart, I needed to play more within myself with more harmony. If I hear the leaf blower next summer, he will be in the wrong. :\

Tonight played a lot of baroque, among others Partitas of Muffat.

Partitas Muffat

Very nice, above all the Partita D minor 3hearts

You know, about 45 years ago, my organ-teacher was a real baroque-lover. We played a lot of baroque and I still love it too. A picture of my teacher is still in my musicroom and make me smile.....and I cherish the sheet music with notes in his handwriting.....

After the Muffat partitas I played some Partitas of Buxtehude.

Best regards,
Johan B

FarmGirl: Congrats on your new piano! What did you buy??

I played/practiced
Haydn a menuet and trio Hob. XVI:3;
Ivan Sings Kachaturian (sp)
Bach Gavotte from French Suite 5
Chopin waltz 34 no 2

We're off to Hawaii for a week and I've found a store that will rent me a digital piano for the week. This is great because I'm supposed to perform the Chopin on Feb 1 and it needs all the work I can give it.
Aloha

The night is still young here in AZ.

I practced 2 pages of Chopin Ballade 3 and 3 pages of Mozart A minor Rondo KV 511. The rondo has lots of turns and I spent most of the time trying to figure them out. I played Cnopin Waltz 64 #2. After Karen's post, I tried Chopin Op34 #2. Ohhhhh what a beautiful piece. I'm gonna play Mazurka 17-4 again and Beethoven sonata 14-2 the fourth movement. I don't think it was the finest piece he wrote but a funny piece. It reminds me Mozart's opera Marriage of figaro (spelling?). You know in the end they have the crazy chorus about the mix up, Tua Madre.. Mi Padre etc.
