JohnSprung 6000 Post Club Member J Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 6,272 Reseda, California	What I'd add is to bring a piece of heavy thread or light string, and when you're behind the piano, work it between the big posts and the sound board, then stretch it tight against the back of the sound board between the ribs. The middle of the string should be 1/8" - 1/4" from the board. If there's no gap, the board has no crown. The other thing is too obvious: Play it and see if you like it. -- J.S.
