Funny you posted about this company.

They're built near where I lived in Germany when I was a kid, and I even visited the factory once. Friends of ours had an upright Pfeiffer, and I played it some back then (we moved back to the US in 1980). I also played it a few times over the years when I'd visit, but last time was in 2003.

They are well-known in Germany, and have a reputation for being high quality.

My friends' Pfeiffer is very nice.

Sometimes I post about upgrading my Baldwin to a bigger Baldwin, but lately I've been daydreaming about a Pfeiffer (one of my brothers is living in Stuttgart now--next time I visit I may check them out).
