Dongbeis, Pearl Rivers, etc. Some are well over 10 years old.

For those of you who service them or deal in used ones, how are they holding up?

In my experience it varies. Not so much based on brand, but on the individual piano.

We sold a lot of Bergmanns and run into some Christoforis that both have started getting trade in or sold. Those that were taken care of and saw average to light use have held up well. Certainly as well as Aeolian pianos did when they were 10-15 years old.

Those early Chinese- and Korean-made entry-level pianos of all brands that were pounded didn't fair as well. The hammers are often as hard as a rock and challenging to voice.Regulation is often way off.
