I look at some of all the files you link to (thank you smile ) and your music looks quite advanced!

I am having a rest so not playing anything. I think something in my shoulders/arms/fingers needs a rest. smile

Albunea,

So sorry for you! When you feel pain somewhere, stop playing. Retry to play a few times short playing......

For your fingers...you play a clp535. It's possible to change the touch to light....

Kind regards,
Johan B

Yes, I will. I bought this piano because I wanted to exercise my fingers and it is supposed to have a "strong" action, but I'll now like to test a lighter one.

There are 3 options: Medium, Soft 1 and Soft 2. It was in Medium and I've changed it to Soft 1 now.

Hope you are well Johan B. I haven't sat at the piano in a few months, it seems. Attended an organ concert of baroque music last night. It was held in a cathedral. Inspired me to get back to piano. Have decided i might start with easy baroque for piano. Maybe i will get over my sense that baroque music is so hard. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Isabelle,

I did not post at ABF for long time, but I'm well. We did some renovation of the inside of our house. Three floors....wall papering, painting doors, ceilings etc, new curtains and carpeting floors....so some three weeks all kind of workmen in the house....
Hope it's finished before X-mas.....even no Christmastree in the house.....

But every day I played my piano, that's basic need....hihi

I see that you're inspired by an organrecital. It's good to hear.......listening to music inspires to play.......

Kind regards,
Johan B

My dear fello-ABF-members,

For all kind of reasons I did not post daily in this topic. Maybe it will be better in future.

Of cours I play the piano every day......today I played among others a lot of Sonatines of Vanhal and Benda, composers from the period of classicism.

Sonatines II

What did you play today?

Best regards,
Johan B

Johan, Not today yet, but this week and later today I am playing from a book titled , The Best Gospel Songs. I play these in times when I need to find peace. My Nutcracker did get a lot better but next year, perfection. I have not had time to play much since around summer my neighbor started turning on his leaf blower when I practiced which told me I needed to improve my practice--makes sense to me. Non verbal cues are always so hard to process. And, I spend a lot of time on my life's first goal..meat and dairy free living and education. In the New Year, hopefully more piano!

Don't tell my neighbors about the leaf blower! ha -- One neighbor across the street, has complained to others that 'I play the same things too much'... I keep on, keeping on until she learns the leaf-blower technique.
