Anyone go or heard him at other venues? The program was a little too virtuosic for my tastes(Bach-Tausig Toccata & Fugue in d minor, Beethoven Appassionata, Prok 6th Sonata, Islamey)but he got a terrific review.

His playing is more aptly suited for a retail store than a concert stage.

If you read JoelW's previous posts and replies, then you can figure out that he is trying too hard to troll to garner some form of attention.
Just ignore him and block his posts.

Unfortunately it does get tiring, although some times his posts are worth it, so ignoring him would not be for the best I think.

I don't know what all this "troll" talk is about. I'm a very serious person.

The NYTimes sound and video bite did not leave me wanting to hear much more. To me I prefer 100 percent Russian school of piano with it refinement, color and dynamic power. This young pianist seems to be centered on the latter.

What do you think would be a good mix of virtuosity and slower/less technical pieces in a concert?
