Hello everyone..
This morning I received a PM from John's wife Jane through John's Piano World account.
She wanted to thank us for all the well wishes and prayers sent their way.
She is also looking to sell John's piano. Now NORMALLY, for sale ads would be prohibited on the forums. But John was such a helpful, friendly, and highly respected contributor that Frank Baxter would like to do what he can to help her sell the piano. I agree.
The piano is a 7.5' Pramberger grand piano. Knowing John, I am of the opinion that he was meticulous in maintaining it. I do not know details on price, or any particulars that someone might have questions on, but I have a call in to Jane and so I am sure details will be forthcoming.
In the spirit of respect for John as our friend, and also in trying to help Jane in selling, I would ask that nobody try lowballing her on it. John was never stingy when any of us had questions, and I hope that Jane can get a price for the piano that will be fair to both her and the buyer.
More information will come as I have it, or if Jane decides to post it on here herself..

John was a good member here and such a help to the teacher's forum. I hope the piano finds a good home and someone to appreciate it. He was enough of a professional that I'd have little doubt his instrument was well cared for.

Frank - it's very kind of you to help Jane with this process. I hope the Pramberger finds a good home and Jane receives a fair price.

Ken,
Any word about potential interest? I'm sure that was a finely maintained instrument.
