Discovered them at the end of last year. My first and former teacher is the pianist of a close harmony group, they do similar stuff and recorded some of the songs that the Comedian Harmonists used to sing.

Mercedes Sosa , which is the original we all know.

A Soprano version I found some time ago and like very much.

This is the last one I've found so I am enjoying it new. smile

How interesting! I listened to the first and the last that you posted, and, being very weak in the Spanish language, I would not have immediately known that they were the same song. Both were very nice.

In case that album cover still intrigues you, take a look at the following album cover:

It appears to be the other half (right half) of the same picture.

I like this best of all!

Will do some R&B for a while. Give the classical a break.

I have known of this performance for awhile. It seems to start lots of controversy/debate over this piece but I feel this is the most superb interpretation of it.

I'm a cheesy guy so most of the music I hear are ballads. One piece that I'm really into is Michael Nyman's The Departure, from the movie Gattaca. It's such a beautiful movie and the soundtrack is as inspiring as the movie.

I'm not finished listening just yet, but, the first ten minutes have been so beautiful, that I had to pause it so I could share it here. What a wonderful selection for all of us beginners. It is such a joy to stumble upon beautiful music that is within our reach.

Enjoy!
