We inherited the 5' Grand from my husband's grandparents in Buffalo NY - by M Schulz & Company. I think it's from the 1920s. It needs a bit of work - more than I can afford right now, unfortunately. :-(

I am so restless. 9 weeks from now I shall be back, permanently, in Europe. Then the big girl can come out of her box and I can send some pictures.....

Here is my piano space. I enjoy it! Had the piano voiced to sound more mellow and also hung window curtains, which helped with the boominess.

Made for long sessions.

Will do some R&B for a while. Give the classical a break.

Hee smile Yeah, the double bench is to play duets with my kids.
And the mic will be getting plugged in for the upcoming ABF recital. Although I may use the digital piano to record, not sure yet.

Very nice piano, bench and place! If I had an acoustic piano and a more quiet place, I would make binaural recordings...
Unfortunately, I have a digital in an unconvenient place (under a loft bed...) and my room faces a bit too busy street, the window doesn't block a lot of sound and it rattles when I play.

InBoston, your U1 looks a lot like mine! I absolutely love pianos with a natural wood finish. And that's a great bench for duets. I should get one, because using two small benches is quite uncomfortable.

^^^ would you please stop this ^^^

Everytime I see this thread come up I expect and look forward to seeing the substance of a new reply, and am quite disappoined when I see your adolescent "bump" response which is typically reserved for the seller sections of gaming forums to bring posts to the top of the queue.

Your one line replies don't magically invoke new additions to piano rooms causing new responses to be made to this thread; they happen on their own, as it should be.

Regards,
Andy

Several times back, I hit the "Notify" button on HP's bump. Just sayin'.
