May I please be excused for July 10th? I was at Summer Keys, a music program for adults in Maine. We take 2 days to drive home and the practice rooms are not open until noon on Sundays. It is great during the week to have all that time for music. I should be able to get a little bit in when I get home tonight .

Would love to join your group. This is a good discipline for me. I am a rusty pianist who now at age 65 has the time and determination to get back in practice. Have been working for about a month playing and practicing a little every day, but being accountable with this forum is even better! Thank you. Will let you know if I miss a day--hope not without a valid reason. So far, so good. Progress is important, without it we only regress.

Thanks for adding me. I am going on holiday tomorrow and will be without a piano for a week. 17th -24th of July How does that work? Am I excused for holidays?

Hi Rusco! Yes, if you are on holiday with no access to a piano, then you are excused. Have fun on your trip!

I missed a day yesterday (July 16th). I was driving to family all day and when we finally arrived it was too late.

So I have two days to confess about. This summer has been tricky with either visiting family or family visiting us, and I get so wrapped up in preparing food and cleaning the house that I totally space out on practicing. So I fell off the wagon on Sat. July 2 and again Sat. July 16. Got back on right away the following Sundays, but kicking myself for forgetting just the same.

Visitors are fun, but they do interfere with practicing .Still, life is about more than piano! I will add your dates, Morodiene!

Please excuse me for yesterday, July 20.
I was out of town, and although I took my music with me, the hotel didn't have a piano. TVs everywhere but no piano. Tsk, tsk.

Ah, a sign of the times- more TV's than musical instruments!! I will mark you down as excused on July 20, Oongawa. I am currently pianoless, and going crazy as a result. I returned my rental piano, and then our return to Switzerland became delayed for a week for some final paperwork here. Ugh. Maybe I can play my Ipad.

Unfortunately I have go to the "Back on the Wagon list" for last 3 days - July 19th, 20th and 21th. The "sad story" is too late coming home (due to a situation at work)

After two weeks of piano heaven in Victoria, I've had to come back to an intense work week -- 18 hours a day of work at a downtown hotel -- that caused me to miss Monday, Tuesday, Weds., and Thurs. of this week (7/18 -- 7/21). That's over now, thankfully, and I intend to do a lot of playing over the weekend... starting tonight!

Confession: I did not play at all on the 20-21. I just felt too much like a crab that needed to bury its head in the sand.
And then I reminded myself how cathartic playing the piano really is... so today, played and then (as always follows) practiced. It felt GOOD!!!

michaelvi - I will put you back on the wagon July 22. I hope your workload lightens up soon!
ClasscLib - Welcome back! I added July 18-21 to your list. Happy playing this weekend!
dogperson - Piano playing can indeed raise your spirits! Yet I understand how life sometimes gets in the way. I will back on the wagon on the 22,

michaelvi - I will put you back on the wagon July 22. I hope your workload lightens up soon! Thank you SwissMS. I reported 3 days - July 19th, 20th and 21th. Or it doesn't matter (the number of days)?
