Can anyone offer advice on the tonal effects on a grand piano if the following regulation issues are problems that need to be addressed? Any comments will be appreciated.

Problems with:

Improper/incorrect string seating and leveling.
Improper/incorrect key frame bedding.

If these are not right and need regulation, what are the tonal consequences and what would I be hearing from the piano?

Thanks.

The note will sound different from notes which are properly mated to the strings.

Improper/incorrect key frame bedding.

Usually it manifests as knocking on certain keys.

In both cases, there can be other causes.
