Hi!
I am learning Isn't she lovely (both jazz version and Stevie Wonder version).
What is it do you think that makes Stevie Wonder's version a non-jazz song? It's close to jazz but it's not really jazz. It's not in the rhythm, I think, becasue such rhythms could work in jazz tunes.
A his chords are kinda jazzy. Maybe the answer lie in the harmony or chord voicings. So in order to make it jazzy then you just make the harmony a bit different?
And maybe do the bass line a bit different? What do you think?

.
The chord changes are just right for jazz and it is in the jazz fakebooks.

In principle, this is not jazz, but based on Gospel.

Don't let presentation fool you. Scored in the style of one of the operatic masters, lyrics adapted for two and with performers prancing around in period costume some might say it's based on Opera.

In any case a song is a composition, the treatment determines whether it's jazz or not.
