Friendly boys. What is the best way to change the cord of damper flange? That is the cord who mantains the damper´s spring. Ever I´ve used a wood splinter.

Do you mean the thick cord that passes through holes in the damper flange and holds the damper return spring?

If it is that, you just get cord the right size, stiffen the end with glue, and run it through the flange and spring. Cut it off with a sharp blade and repeat on the next one.
