As I am doing a recital-series with the theme: 'young Chopin' (which is a stupid title, as is 'the early Schubert'...), I am really interested in where to find the score of the Introduction and Polonaise brillante op.3 for piano solo, so WITHOUT cello, I just seem too digibetic to pin it down, please.

I LOVE this piece.

I'm not aware of any version for solo piano.

BTW, I have trouble imagining why you'd want to do it without cello. To the extent that you're aiming to put forth "the young Chopin," I think such a thing would badly misrepresent him. To me, the sound of the cello -- and maybe more importantly, the interplay between the cello and piano -- are a huge part of making the piece what it is. Doing the piece without the cello would be kind of like.....dunno, what dumas analogy can I come up with grin ....kind of like playing tennis without the ball.

(Old cinema reference:)

.....or, dueling without arms or legs?

I'd sooner do a duet with a "music minus one"-type of recording of the cello part (if it's possible to coordinate such a thing, which I'm not sure if it is), or pay a couple of bucks to a cellist to sit in and play with you.
I sometimes sit down and play parts of the piece "solo," doing my best to mimic the cello along with the piano. But I'd never dream of presenting it that way publicly, except maybe just to briefly demonstrate some of the themes.

Just my 2 cents. smile

......and, for the many people who don't know the piece, let me give you a treat. smile
This is a live recording by a couple of people I know, from a concert series that I attend regularly (sorry, no video, just audio):

So, folks, you tell me: Would you ever want to have this without cello?

Czerny arranged it for piano solo. Dunno how faithful it is to the original, but it shouldn't be hard to compare and judge. (At least it's still in C major!) You should find it easily at the Scorser site by using these search terms:

czerny chopin polonaise

Thank you, Goomer, just the word 'Czerny' did the job, the score appeared as 3rd item orso on Google, I just didn't know that good old Czerny arranged it haha.

Hey, nice program and nice to see the Rondos covered that Chopin chose to publish. (I figure you're probably already aware that there exists a version of the Op. 73 for piano solo?)

op.73 for piano solo sounds as if it was arranged, not even by Chopin himself, and the Polonaise op.3 sounds as if it was the original version, which it isn't, not even by Chopin, haha
