That looks like a Baldwin E, made about 1930. It needs restoration, but those were pretty good pianos.

There might be more information available if you gave the scale designation, which is cast in the plate near the bass bridge, that is, along the left side of the piano near the back.

Maybe I'm behind the times, yet again, but this piano doesn't look especially baby-ish to me.
Is there someone out there that can date it by way of that number on the plate ?

I agree...it's not terribly small.
If the Bluebookofpianos.com is correct, it looks like about 1930 (same date as BDB posted).

Looks pretty rusty, like it was in the house all summer without A/C running, or it's been near salt water. You may want to have a rebuilder look at it - for an accurate value and assessment of work needed. Looks like you have been left a diamond in the rough.

Me too...

From the pictures, it looks to be close to 6 feet at least; maybe more.

Depending on the angle of the photo, the length of a piano can be difficult to guesstimate.

afelix630, where are you located? Perhaps someone here can recommend a local rebuilder or technician to evaluate the piano. Likely the worst case is that you have a rebuildable core worth a few hundred dollars. The more of it that can be re-used, the more it's worth, perhaps into the low thousands.

For comparison, here's a good place to watch for prices on old Baldwins in good condition:
