Figured I'd post this here and see if it gets any interest, I have a Suzuki DDP-1ei bought new from Costco 5-6 years ago.
Stopped working, red light comes on. It's a bad circuit board redistributor. Think Costco will take it back???

I've talked with suzuki keyboards in san diego and they doesn't have any replacement parts for this model.

If you want it... I'm near los angeles / orange county / san diego.

I'm sorry I don't mean to self advertise, but I'd rather not throw it away.

It's a shame, this was a wonderful and very handsome digital piano. Excellent touch on this set of keys. Decent powered speakers too. Good pedalboard.

Well, Suzuki is not known for quality digital pianos. You've probably used it for its life and if you're lucky you can sell it for parts on Ebay or craigslist. Pretty sure Costco will not take it back after so much time has passed, and no doubt it's well outside any warranty Suzuki may have had.

As you begin your search for a new DP, I recommend sticking with models from reliable manufacturers such as Kawai, Yamaha, Roland, and Casio. smile

You're probably right, I reckon I gave it a better life than someone who bought it and let it sit. It was just such a shock when she stopped working, she was my old reliable plowhorse frown ...

I'm moving away from digital pianos as I try and get more portable.

I've got my sights set on the Yamaha Moxf8. Played one intensely in guitar center, and I think it just blows all my previous keyboards out of the park. I'm just not a huge fan of the small screen when compared to the korg krome or roland fa08, but i guess it's just less things that could go wrong. It has an amazing touch to it, and I'm no audiophile, but it has wonderful voices to boot.

Currently I have a General Music GEM SK880 (i'm trying to sell so I have some cash for my mox) I Freaking LOVE my GEM, but there's no telling how much life this 16 year old keyboard has left... knock on wood... Still reads 3.5" floppy disks like new.
