I have a newborn baby girl in need of a name. Which other musically inspired names would work for a girl, other than Melody and Aria?

Oh, how wonderful!

Allegra is a 24 hour allergy medicine wink

Well, there's my moniker Grace, as in grace note wink wink

How about Celeste?

And a ballerina. Still, as someone who was almost given a very difficult name, I take your point...

My suggestion is anacrusis.
That way, she'll be of an upbeat disposition.

By now, what have you named her?

I thought of two others: Cadence and Caroline.

I know a little girl named Cadence. Interestingly, her nickname is "LaLa."

Anacrusis...Upbeat, yes .....But not just another pickup.

Have to be careful with a name that a child carries thru a lifetime. Never know how fashionable turns of phrase are gonna change.
