Duncan Cumming will perform a concert for the Saco River Festival Association on Saturday, October 10 at 2 pm at Corthell Hall, University of Southern Maine, Gorham Campus.. (Directions to the campus https://usm.maine.edu/about/directions-gorham-campus).

His program is titled "Music My Teacher Taught Me", including music of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Chopin.

Duncan was a student of concert pianist the late Frank Glazer. Mr. Glazer and his wife Ruth started the Saco River Festival Association nearly fifty years ago. Frank continued to play the piano and teach (as the artist in residence) at Bates College in Lewiston Maine right up until he became ill at age 99.

Kathy and I are members of the SRFA group (I'm the current president). Our mission is to bring live music to the community and to support music in the local schools.

Duncan's concert is a tribute to his teacher.

Mark your calendar, this is one concert you won't want to miss.
