Hi
This is my first post so first i thanks everyone for the good advices you can find on the forum, thank you guys.
I have a piano GEM model pRP6 and i have a problem with the keyboard, some keys are working fine some are not working at all, i did a fix already on the keyboard few weeks ago and it worked well until now, same problem now, before i found some oxide on the connectors and chip of the keyboard control board, i did resolder the pins and the sound came back.
Unfortunatly now i have the same problem, some octave are working some not, the octaves 1,2,7and 8 are working but nothing in the midle, i did test again all the connection and seems like all i good so i am thinking that the decoder on the control board of the keyboard may stop working.

Before to try to sobstitute the chips i would like to have some advice from you guys to know if i am looking in the right direction or not or if there is some test i can try to do before remove and replace the chips

Thank you

I can't offer any advice on fixing what you have, but something with 32-note polyphony and half-weighted keys, well, it might be time for an upgrade since it seems to be failing. Maybe we can help you find something comparable that's new and under warranty.

Are you sure that you didn't call up a split or another preset created by a previous owner? (Does it behave this way if you just boot the keyboard and play the default piano?)
