Howdy folks,

I'm a bit in shock. The PX-5S just dropped in price. I discovered it while I was checking for a gig bag for it.

Am I gonna be a(n) <insert expletive> and contact the retailer or should I walk away and hate myself for not have waited just a few days longer before ordering?

It's still within 30-day money-back period.

Ugh. smirk

How much was the price reduction?

€122 - that's substantial in the sub-one-grand piano landscape.

Cue Zephyr, was this at a local Dutch store, or a global internet retailer such as Thomann?

You could contact the retailer to enquire the price drop, and ask if they would be willing to refund the difference. However, I do believe they are under any obligation to do so. You purchased the instrument at the price they advertised at that particular time.

Kind regards,
James

Can't you send it back (everyone seems to say this is a simple and normal procedure these days, though I have my doubts) and then (after a respectable break) buy it again for €122 less?

And that's why they might give you a decent price adjustment !

This is what I seem to find in these cases mostly. I purchased mine from Thomann but I live in The Netherlands. Shops in The Netherlands went down by €50, not over 100 like Thomann just did.

I went contacted them.
