My wife and i were able to test out a Casio Celviano ap650 and a kawai cn25 as well as a Roland rp401r in the same day, my wife liked the Roland so much she ordered it on the spot, we have test a lot of different digital piano over the last 6 months but she said the Roland was the first that had the warm sound and good key action and midi features all in one piano, previously she was torn between the Yamaha bosendorfer voice on the clps and the nice key action of the kawai ca 65. so it was a bit of a shock that the lower priced roland rp401r hit both for her especially since we had mostly heard from other people that thier synthesizers were good but pianos were meh.

Which is why you'll read time and again on this site -- don't trust what other's have written; trust your own fingers and your own ears! Congrats on the purchase and I wish you and her years of happiness with it!
