Wow - the new button at the top is cool! casinitaly - does it really translate in to understandable Italian? I wonder if you keep translating around thru the languages if you could eventually get something that means something exactly the opposite of what it started out as? A PW telephone game smile

oui, mais est-ce que t'as repondu en francais ou anglais?

(which,in the preview, showed up as "do you have replied in French or English?"..so is it me or the translator at fault?)

Well, I tried several different languages, but it left my English the same, so no PW telephone game! I was in English both times I posted - my French is 50 years old so I can only kind of read it. So let's see what it does with bi-lingual posts, eh?

I've just realised after congratulating Nahum on his sometimes perfect english that his use of this button might account for the wild fluctuations into near-incomprehensibility.

it might be worth using as a means of trying to brush up a second language...

- I hadn't seen it either, until you pointed it out...

French is passable with some mistakes. German is seriously out to lunch. Latin was interesting - it kept the French as French. Russian transliterated "oui" into O - U - I, rather than "da".

The Polish was kind of funny although still understandable. But the sentence:

oui, mais est-ce que t'as repondu en francais ou anglais?

Appeared as:

oui, mais est-ce que t'as repondu en francais ou polonais?

confused

Strangely, when I posted (above)

Quote
oui, mais est-ce que t'as repondu en francais ou anglais?

(which,in the preview, showed up as "do you have replied in French or English?"..so is it me or the translator at fault?)

- it appeared a short while ago (nothing else had changed) as

Quote
do you have replied in French or English?

(which,in the preview, showed up as "do you have replied in French or English?"..so is it me or the translator at fault?)

- I think my head might explode.

It put me in mind of this -

Nice touch, however I have a minor complaint. The HTML code must not be written properly for this button, since on my browser the button is missing in the initial screen paint, then shows up a second later. This is causing the whole web page to judder, which is starting to give me a headache.

Now you know what I do when I'm not practicing! smirk

Is that why when I load the site and go into forums that the page jumps a little bit making me miss the link I'm trying to click on?
