Hey can anyone recommend any piano shops that might be worth checking out in Warsaw. My googling skills aren't proving very useful today….

Hi, AJF
My suggestion is to check:
- Riff Pianosalon (Ordynacka str. 10/12) which is located in the city center. They mainly sell Yamaha pianos, Petrof, Ritmuller and Bosendorfer. Probably the biggest piano shop in Warsaw
- Kawai salon - Nowogrodzka str. 52/54, city center, close to the Marriott hotel
- Pianoforte - S&S, National Opera House, Plac Emila Mlynarskiego 2, +48 (0) 22 828 45 49 (pls call them beforehand, I am not shure if it is still there)

I live in Warsaw, just ask if you need any information which may help you during your stay.

Cheers,
Romek

Cool smile
Try also zurek soup, pierogi (stuffed dumpligs) and bigos. If the budget and time is no issue, the best Polish cuisine restaurants in Warsaw are:
- Atelier Amaro (1* Michelin)
- Platter (Intercontinental Hotel)
- U Kucharzy
The best Neapolitan pizza is served in Maka i Woda restaurant

Enjoy your stay!

Dear Romek et al,

I'm in Warsaw for a few weeks and would like to practice piano during my stay here. Is there a place where I could rent a piano per hour? I tried the Music School, but they seem to have waiting lists already for their students...

Best,

Sander

I will ask my teacher tomorrow and I will let you know.

EDIT: You may as well check this out - they advertise 30 PLN/hr for Boston or Essex pianos

Thanks! I'll try the Riff Salon. Did your teacher have any other tips?

Hi there,
sorry for the late answer but there are very limited possibilities to rent a piano per hour (most of them are already occupied by piano students). My teacher suggested to check the Hear Studio
Hear Studio .
They have a grand piano (room A) and the Nord (room B) which you can rent per hour (45PLN per hr). You can make an online booking.

I hope this will be helpful.

All the best,
Romek
