Hi there,

Lurking around the ABF......I discovered a new member from Honolulu: Nikki Ty-Tomkins. Very welcome at PianoWorldForums!

She has two nice sites to visit, very interesting blogs, for example about Zipoli........she made also nice compositions for beginners......

Worth to have a look.......thanks to Nikki.

Hope to see Nikki many times at PW

Nikki Ty-Tomkins

Music for beginners

Best regards,
Johan B

What a delightful welcome to PW. I saw a sudden surge in views on my two blogs and was very puzzled. Now I can see where they came from. Members at PW who have been encouraged by your very kind words.

Thank you very much ... or as we say in Hawaiian ... Mahalo Nui Loa

Funny......your sites were visited more.......and it's worth!!
I like your vision about children and pianoplaying......

In your blog I noticed that you are impressed of Zipoli among others. Nice music, especially his Suites. I studied organ from 1965-1973 in de AA-kerk in Groningen. My teacher recorded many works of Böhm and Zipoli. AA-kerk and Johan van Meurs (site of his son)

In your compositions I see that you're inspired by the baroque and classical period. Gigues, Fuga's. I love your Prelude in C minor. I played it several times this morning, put some notes extra........
The others I also played........nice and very useful for people starting study classical.....

You're very welcome at PW. You can do very useful confributions....... thumb thumb

Best regards from another and quite different part of the world,
Johan B

Thanks for the site links!

I really like the beginner pieces that are manageable for new students but still sound impressive when you play them.

I'm definitely going to pick out a couple to work on.
