I took delivery of the K&M 18950 and the 18952 stacker for my MP11 and an extra Synth.

Kawai James was right.

This thing is built like a tank. I used a Proel X stand before receiving the K&M and was frozen with fear every time it wobbled as I played. Especially when doing heavy solos.

I once saw a Video somewhere of some guy's entire two deck rig, Synth and Piano, come crashing down because of the X stand he was using.

With this stand, I actually felt myself playing much better, as I played without the distraction of fear and holding back on the velocity.

I set it up in a hurry for my gig and only used the stand, without the extensions. At that height 64.2 Cms, I only had to raise my Piano bench one notch.

The K&M stands at 64.2 Centimetres (25.3 inches) without the extension tube and rubber feet, and comes to just under 67 Cm (26.4 Ins) with all the trappings mounted.

Absolutely no wobble and it stands as solid as a rock.

I also got myself a Soundwear XL Keyboard bag with wheels. Super padded and slightly less than 5 Kilos.
The MP11 fits like a glove.

I couldn't be happier right now.

PS: I'm thinking of going to a Professional Metal and Aluminium workshop near where I live, to chop off around 4 Cms from the stand, put an anti corrosion coating of paint and drill a new hole for the extension tubes.

Got my gear in the van right now. Will try tomorrow.
Are you referring to the stand as it is, or after I chop off a few Centimetres ?

Will do both. I tried to upload some pics of the MP11 the other day from my Phone. It didn't work. Will have to try uploading from the Computer.

BTW: I'm a bit confused now if the height without the extensions was 64.2 Cms, or 62.4 Cms.

Will also have to check tomorrow. It's past midnight now.
I've been gigging for 18 nights straight. It's my night off.

Can't go dragging stuff out of the van now.

Thanks for the update Abby - I'm glad to hear you're happy with the K&M! Their gear is a little more expensive than other brands, but I'm convinced you absolutely get what you pay for.

Looking forward to seeing the pics of your rig, once you have time to post them.

Cheers,
James

Thanks James.
I got it from Thomann for 118 Euros. The stacker was 48 Euros, and The Soundwear bag was 159 Euros. It's all worth every penny.

The Soundwear bag is light enough to tuck under the arm with the MP11 inside, when climbing stairs. And just roll it along on flat surfaces. Will post pictures as soon as I can.

My upload failed last time, when I wanted to upload pictures of my MP11.
I'll try to do it right this time.

I keep getting a " Web page not available " response every time I try to load a picture in Image Manager.

I think I have followed all the instructions correctly.

In this video I've seen a MP11 not wobbling:

I asked to the user about his stand and he says it's a KAWAI KKS-8. But it seems it's only avaliable on Japan, not in Europe.
