Hi all,

I am going to NYC at the end of the month for a short holiday and while staying there I would love to visit a good bar/club that play ideally blues piano or the like. I wouldn't mind if it was an open mic style evening either, or if there is other musical accompaniment. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I have read online about Brandys Piano Bar, anyone know of it or better still, been there?

Go! Then come back and report to us ... how it was!

Here's a youtube video of Brandy's Piano Bar. Looks like you can pick up the mic and sing or play the piano. Looks like a good time!

The owner of Smalls jazz club in NYC just opened this club across the street. It's a jazz piano/bass, etc. and only for listening and drinking place smile You might want to check it out.
