Toccata Boogie was my (originally anonymous) entry to the Summer Composition Competition 2014 event. Here are its PDF score and MP3 recording:

As stands, Toccata Boogie is a rush job put together rather hastily over a few evenings hours just for the event ... so consider this "work in progress" that I still intend to tweak when I have more time.

In the meantime, you comments and criticisms are welcome.

Fun piece to listen to. Lots of originality as far as I can judge. Unfortunately out of range with my technical capabilities.

Thanks, Ganddalf ... "fun" and "original" were definitely what I was aiming for at the time, so I am glad to see that confirmed by a third party.

Occasionally I compose music myself. I would really like to make something with humor and elegance, but I always end up writing slow and sentimental music, and unfortunately lacking the originality I aim for..... Easy to be a copycat.

OK, it took me a lot longer than expected, I just got around to get to cleaned up and published. Enjoy!
