To sign up, hit the quote button of the most recent list in this thread, remove the quote in brackets at the beginning and end, and put your new selection & name in bold.

Note: I have tried to separate out multi-movement works where possible, so you could sign up for just one movement in a sonata. However, due to the large volume of music we have, if you wish to sign up for an entire Opus you may, as long as another person doesn't want to do a movement from that Opus.

I've chosen the valse noble from Carnival. I'll probably add another piece or two from carnival if nobody else picks them. It wont be 'Paganini' though that's for sure smile

Looking back it seems Pover signed up for Op 18 Arabesque but has somehow been dropped from the list. I think I dropped him when I "copied" not "quoted".

Good catch! I've updated the list. He had such a huge output that it's a bit unwieldy, but I think it helps to see what's out there when trying to make choices.

I would like to play Op. 68 no. 18 and had marked it on a longer "cut-and-paste" that I'm now editing out.

I've only done one of these and forgot anything I learned from it. When we say the recital date is 3/15, is that the last date or the first date for submitting recordings?

March 15 is the deadline for all submissions. I will be asking for submissions probably a couple of weeks prior to that. I will probably be presenting the music in Opus order, but at this point I don't know which day Op 68, for example, would be posted. I have never used the software, so it could be that everything has to go all at once too - I'm learning as I go smile .

So to be on the safe side, plan to have your recording done by early March, and submit the recording when a thread is opened up with details on how to do that.

(Edited for clarity)

I'll do the first and maybe the second part of the Bunte Blatter unless someone else wants to take on the whole thing. All five parts are way too much for me.

So... That's Opus 99 No.2, first (Piuttosto lento) and possibly second (presto) section.

I put you down just for the first movement, and if no one selects the 2nd one you can take that one as well when we open it for multiple selections.

Thanks, Morodiene! And thanks for organizing this e-cital.
