Thanks so much everyone! I've had a very relaxing, contented day.

I had Skype chats with good friends, and my Dad - and played peekaboo with my nephew (18 months) via Skype too.

This evening we had a very delicious dinner at home (we've been travelling a lot the past few weeks and I didn't want to go out again)

We had appetizers of sea-food canapés with prosecco, and then shrimp on scallop shells over a mousse of tuna, covered with gelatine. (with a lovely Gewertztraminer from North-eastern Italy) Our main course was lobster (from Canada - can you believe it?) - again with the Gewertztraminer - and a caesar salad.

Dessert was little tarts filled with custard and topped with fruit, and some chocolate truffles we picked up in Switzerland last week.

I had lots of cards and emails and was able to really relax and do exactly what I wanted all day --- it was a real treat!

Thank you all for you very kind and happy wishes!

Hope you had a great day, it is my turn tomorrow (31st July) so we are both Leo's, although sadly I have lost most of my mane

Happy B-day Cheryl. It sounds like you had a great day enjoying seafood, pastries, and sweet wine. It's great to celebrate once in a while...especially if celebrating includes lobster! Yummy!

Dinner tonight for me was leftover Sams club chicken and some yogurt. But when I thought of the seafood you described I drooled on the counter a little.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear you had a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday Cheryl!

If you were here in Chocolatetown I'd treat you to some succulent and sinfully delicious chocolate delight - after a mouth-watering dinner of Chicken Trombino! (I know you haven't gotten around to making it yourself yet...).
