Another fugue from the Polyphonist.

This one is written on 3 separate staves, but it was conceived for keyboard and can easily be played thereon.

I believe this would be easier to read if the note values were cut in (at least) half may be even quarter. Your shortest note value is a half note and there are some notes tied over many bars. That would of course reduce your fugue from 84 bars to 42 or even 21, at which point it becomes more of a fughetta. The music itself is nice enough, but I won't ask you to make it longer.

That's a good effort! You certainly know your suspensions. Cutting the note values might make sense - without a tempo indication I would have played it (were I to play it in the first place) about a third that speed, in the style of majestic baroque fugues that use larger note values for their subjects but bring in smaller note values in counter melodies. However, it's pleasant to listen to at the tempo you posted. What does it sound like with a trill on that long pedal point?
