I'm also working on this sonata at the moment - I especially love the 1st movement. Which one is you favourite? I enjoyed your performance hugely, a couple of thoughts that crossed my mind whilst listening were:
Scherzo/trio - so impressed by the cleanliness at this speed! Personally I take it a bit slower, in part for technical reasons, but also as I feel the trio breathes a bit more a fraction slower. The thirds in the middle of the scherzo are right pain though, aren't they...!
Funeral march - what's your feeling on the extensive staccato marks everywhere? I find that staying true to all of them can make it sound very abrupt in places. But it's tricky to judge how far to deviate. One minor comment here - in the drumroll/fanfare section, there's an accent mark on the second note of the fanfares, if I remember correctly. Yours are accented a little the other way for some of them, and to me it means that you lose the pulse a bit in that section.
Rondo - so simple on paper, so devilishly tricky to execute cleanly. I like your tempo very much here. What are your feelings on pedalling - minimal throughout or something different?
Congratulations on a successful recital and good luck at grad school!
