Back in university over 30 years ago I played this concerto with the university orchestra and more recently I decided to try and create my own interpretation of Rachmaninoff's enduringly popular Piano Concerto No. 2 through the form of a orchestral reduction.

Last week I had the opportunity to record this transcription of mine. I only had time to record two takes and this was one of them which I'm relatively happy with so I thought I'd share it on here. This is only my personal interpretation of the piano concerto and obviously when it comes to orchestral reductions, a piece can be interpreted in many different ways so I'd appreciate it if you'd take this into consideration when listening.
