Im still trying to record synthogy ivory with reaper. I opened synthogy in reaper but there was still no sound so I went to check the midi and realized it was not enabled but when I enable it it says the input and output could not be opened. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Make sure there are no other applications using midi running in the computer.
Open Reaper.
Go to Options menu,
Preferences,
Midi devices

Now, will the window not allow you to enable your midi device?

If not, something might be defective - the cable maybe.

Are you sure a midi signal is entering the computer?

May I politely suggest that you post a reply in your previous thread here, explaining the steps you took to make Ivory available in Reaper.

There's nothing wrong with asking multiple questions, but it would perhaps be courteous to reply to those who have helped you so far, while also confirming the correct procedure for others who may encounter similar issues in the future.

Kind regards,
James
