Bench says Yamaha but piano has no markings. Emailed the owner but even they don't know. I searched for "Yamaha digital piano with lid" and found nothing that looks exactly like it. I assume that's a lid covering the controls. I thought people here might have fun guessing.

My more refined guess is CVP-25 or CVP59S.

Could be the CLP 810 or 820. I had the 820, it was a cracker for it`s day. Looked exactly like that but could be older. They only had two pedals. I only ever used one . .

You are correct. It turned out to be a CLP 810S.

Why is this a "mystery piano" when the info you need is right under the photos in the link, below?

http://marketplace.uchicago.edu/digital-piano

As copied, here:

Yamaha Clavinova CLP-810S. Piano is in fair condition - all the keys work, but the pedals do not. The bench is a little bit nicked, but otherwise fine. It is located in Hyde Park, and needs to go ASAP, so please contact me soon if you're interested. Cash only. Price negotiable.

Nice job identifying Pete! CLP-810S circa 1998.

That's a relief. I was beginning to look around for Rod Serling.
